Since we started off as a company, our vision has been to portray intricate designs on age old authentic traditional media and present it in a way to add beauty to the wardrobe of any modern woman. Our focus has been to bring forth the fine art of handmade craftsmanship.
We have undertaken an endeavor and are working hard to design and present to you our elegant unique scarves like Jamdani (Bengali:জামদানি). Jamdani is one of the finest muslin textiles of Bengal. Jamdani is an art form which traces its roots back to the earliest mention in Kautilya's Arthashastra (book of economics, about 3rd century BC). Jamdani was extremely appreciated and has adorned Mughal emperors. Audience with an eye towards detail and the beauty that can be depicted on textile has always sent a nod Jamdani’s way. It is very well known that Jamdani is a labor-intensive form of hand loom weaving and represents one of the finest varieties of muslin. Created on the loom brocade by artisans following the same high quality of craftsmanship generation upon generation, Jamdani boasts of magnificent motifs that seem to float on a layer of exquisite fabric.
